Working with Washington Talent Agency for our DJ for our wedding was great. Their staff is amazing. We had to swap out DJs two weeks prior to our wedding day due to our original DJ experiencing a medical emergency, and the transition process was smooth. We appreciate both our former and new DJs being willing to accommodate our Zoom livestream equipment and giving us feedback to help shape our playlists. While we wish more of our selected songs were played during the dancing period, we appreciate that DJ Ralph abided by our request to read the room and play music that people wanted to dance to. Overall, we had a good experience in working with Washington Talent Agency and would recommend them as a vendor.Posted on Google
Frank GoldingTremendously good company, highly, highly recommend for large events (such as our h.s. reunion). tl;dr - WTA came on very short notice - designed our logo - brought a full studio set up (not a photo booth) - 2 professional photographers. - High quality candid photos and photos shot in the studio set up. - FREE, unlimited, 5x7 photos with cardstock frames. (130+ ppl at the event...) - Same night, personal text with link to photos you appeared in. - Week later, email with a group link to the entire photo gallery. - Jack Hartzman! Details Fast; Logo Design too. We called WTA to see if they could provide a "photo booth" for our 40th High School Reunion -- happening 4 days later, and design a logo for the photos. They could and they did.. Incredibly Professional; Better than a Booth. This was no ordinary "photo booth" and no "ordinary" photographer. Jack Harzman, Marketing Director & Sr. Photographer, showed up, and by "showed up" I mean, he brought a SECOND photographer, and an entire studio setup (not a photo booth) -- black background drop cloth and two umbrella lights, etc. plus photo printers (5"x7" with card stock frames). Professional Photography. There were umbrella lights! We're not in iPhone land anymore. Unlimited, Free 5"x7" prints with cardstock frame! I am not sure if that included the candid photos. We had 130+ people. That's a lot of free photos. Personal Text Link to YOUR photos. They took a candid shot of me, and then I gave them my ph#. Next thing, I've got a text with a link to that photo AND all other photos I appear in throughout the night. Group Text Link to ALL photos. A week later we received a link to beautiful website that included all photos, and how to purchase any of them. Super Responsive. Alex LevineWe used WTA for our sons Bar Mitzvah and we loved having an all in one option. The idea of a photographer , DJ, MC and dancers all coming from the same agency really helped in our planning. We thought Ricardo did a wonderful job with both his Synagogue photos and his party pictures. We all looked great. He even indulged us in recreating a picture from my own Bar Mitzvah. DJ Spot did a great job keeping the music upbeat and was great with the kids The MC and Dancer were great and kept the people moving and the kids engaged like my son in the picture. We provided a list of must-play songs, and DJ Marc filled in the rest. Everyone loved his song choices which made the environment super fun. Sitara6 September 2026The Source - absolutely incredible! Choosing Washington Talent Agency's The Source for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made, without question. We were initially drawn to them because of their incredible playlist and online videos, and after attending one of their showcases, we knew immediately they were the perfect fit for our wedding. The showcase was fantastic and completely confirmed our instincts. They played an amazing mix of songs, showed off incredible energy and chemistry as a band, and took the time to answer all of our questions. One thing that especially stood out was when Chelsea explained that, if we booked them, she would serve as the master of ceremonies during the reception and would guide us through everything ahead of time. She absolutely delivered on that promise. A few weeks before the wedding, Chelsea followed up with us and our wedding planner to walk through the timeline and all of the important details for the day. She was organized, thoughtful, and made us feel completely confident that everything was in great hands. We also asked the band to learn a song that was really special to us for our first dance — the acoustic version of “First Date” by Blink-182. Not only did they learn it, but they performed it perfectly. It was somehow even better than we had imagined, and it became one of the most memorable moments of the entire day. During the reception, Chelsea completely took control of the MC duties and kept everything flowing seamlessly, while the band absolutely brought the house down. We truly cannot overstate how incredible they were — it felt like we had our own private concert. The energy was unreal. The saxophonist and vocalists came out onto the dance floor multiple times while performing, which made the whole experience feel so immersive and exciting. The male vocalist, in particular, was an absolute rock star — his talent, smile, and infectious energy were on another level and impossible not to feed off of. Throughout the night and even after the wedding, guest after guest told us that The Source was the best wedding band they had ever experienced — by far. They made such a huge impact on the entire evening and helped create the kind of celebration we had always hoped for. We cannot recommend The Source highly enough. If you have the chance to attend one of their showcases, do it. And if you’re on the fence about booking them, this is your sign: go with The Source. You will not regret it.Posted on Wedding Wire

They played such great songs, learned songs, and kept the dance floor full the entire night! The best part was them coming on the floor and interacting with the guests throughotu the night! Everyone danced and they never stopped - and that was because District Groove never stopped. The music was so good. Every musician brought incredible talent. We loved the way everyone in the band engaged the whole crowd. We really did not want it to end. It was amazing. Ryan5 July 2026Exceeded all Expectations! WTA and the band 'Onyx' were a critical part in making our wedding reception so special. My wife and I still can't believe how incredible the band was. We had high hopes based on the very positive interactions we'd had with Washington Talent during the booking process, and while reviewing the band's extensive set list, but it's hard to get the true sense of a band's performance from a small teaser video and old cellphone recordings on YouTube. What we got was a group with amazing energy, phenomenal musical talent, and a real talent for reading and engaging the crowd. Anytime the energy waned or the dance-floor emptied, they had a trick up their sleeves ready to get people refocused.
